I am sure every one of you out there has heard of the BMW 330Ci, sometimes affectionately known as the 'Baby M3'. With 231bhp and 300Nm on tap, it is definitely not short of power and torque. Sometime early this year, I had the pleasure of the company of the BMW 330i estate which is also powered by the same sweet sounding and powerful straight six. Acceleration was quick and power was on tap readily for overtaking manoeuvres and for getting ahead of traffic. The only down side was that I enjoyed driving the car so much, my right foot tended to spend extended periods pressed firmly on the accelerator pedal and this resulted in the car developing an addiction for unleaded petrol….by the bucketloads!

Nicholas Kok installed a Boostmaster and one B8 in his previous car, a Honda Civic VTi-S and he was very impressed by the gains in power and fuel economy. He was so impressed that in his current car, a gorgeous and very desirable BMW 330Ci Cabriolet, he had a top-of-the-line Top Fuller (Racing) installed as well as 'dropping' eight B8s into the fuel tank. Nicholas's belief is that you can never have "too much of a good thing". The total cost of his outlay is more than $2000 and Nicholas believes every cent is worth it as not only has he experienced better fuel economy, he also notices that his 330Ci's torque at the upper engine speed range is much improved and his engine sounds creamy smooth, even when fully extended.
