DESPITE THE AGE OLD MYTH THAT YOU CAN'T SAVE FUEL WHILE INCREASING PERFORMANCE, BROQUET HAS REBUKED THAT TREND WITH THEIR GROUNDBREAKING RANGE OF FUEL CHARGES FOR ALL SORTS OF VEHICLES.
When Broquet laid this claim, it sparked my interest immediately, was it actually possible to save fuel while increasing the performance at the same time? A quick scan of the Internet revealed all. It's a resounding Yes! In fact, already quite a few major car manufacturers have started installing Broquet as a standard feature in their cars. Subaru's UK distributor is even a Broquet dealer as well. This was amazing, I definitely had to experience Broquet first hand. A quick call to Universal Consultants their official dealer here in Singapore and I was immediately hooked up to their latest offering, the Broquet BoostMaster B-40.
THE WORKS
But before I get started, let's examine how Broquet actually works. The unique Broquet Fuel Catalyst is a highly effective, yet simple, aid to better combustion and is recommended for all petrol and diesel engines. Broquet is a catalyst that when introduced into the fuel tank or fuel line of a diesel, petrol or oil-fueled engine, reacts with the fuel to improve the efficiency of the combustion process. Broquet also functions as an octane booster, treating ron95 fuels and giving you ron98-like performance. It will continually treat fuels for 400,000 km or an average of 15 years.
Broquet works not only by promoting more efficient combustion but also removing, and then inhibiting the build-up of carbon deposits, waxes and gums that normally form in the combustion chamber. The overall result is significant reductions in exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, more power and less maintenance due to cleaner combustion components, installation is a breeze without any cutting of wires or hoses. Best part is Broquet requires no maintenance whatsoever. Drivers will also realise that its easier to start their engines and while on the move, the car is a lot smoother. TEST TIME
I fitted the B-40 to our test car, a Hyundai Getz 1.6M and went for a spin. Immediately the difference could be felt right of the bat. Throttle response was a lot faster and acceleration was increased as well. The car felt a lot lighter and you didn't need to step on the accelerator pedal harder as before just to move off. It was that remarkable. The quick and simple installation lasted no more than 15 minutes but the gains I experienced with the BoostMaster installed were tremendous. I carried on the test for a week wanting to see if the claims on fuel savings were equally true. And sure enough Broquet really did wonders to the Hyundai's bad FC. Previously the Getz was getting on average of 8.9Km/L, with the B-40 installed I was clocking in excess of 10Km/L that's an improvement of more than 9%! With this I can savely conclude, that Broquet really does save fuel while giving your car that extra kick in performance!
