that's how i'll describe broquet. i don't know about GDI engines, don't know about VTEC engines, don't know about CVT engines.... but i sure know that broquet works fantastically well on my 1.5 Corolla(A) VVTi engine. Before i go on to sing praises of this product, let me tell you what i've got in my sweet corolla, 1 x B40, 3 x B8.

I installed the Broquet 'sasauge'  (the one with 8 pellets) in the Rover. It did wonders to the engine and I throughly enjoyed it driving up and down M1, to Reading and Bristol

I could feel torque when high revs in all gears,  the car simply comes alive....and when you rev up in top 5th gear..it simply gets wild....the torque gets going!!.  I think its value for money!! Tee Jin

BUT ! after installing the Broquet fuel charger & Intanks, the life in my 2.2 litre is back. the power in acceleration & the smoothness during cruising is like a total recall. i could feel my vehicle turning back to its youthfulself again. well Eugene, like you have said, the effect will be coming in gradually.....i can't wait to see the full effect of it

Subject: Broquet - Address the installation problem!!

Hello David,

I am Jonathan Wong from Singapore. During 1994-1997, when I was doing my PhD in Leicester University, I used to drive a G plate Rover 416, (think it was G741 ???) . I installed the Broquet 'sasauge'  (the one with 8 pellets) in the Rover. It did wonders to the engine and I throughly enjoyed it driving up and down M1, to Reading and Bristol. I was upset to sell the car before returning to Singapore.

Recently, I bought a new Toyota Corolla in Singapore (costs of private cars in Singapore is really ridiculously expensive), and installed the Broquet after running in the engine. Once again, the Broquet magic was back, even for a new car. It reminded me how my old Rover woke up from sleep during summer 1994 after I 'pushed' the Broquet sausage down into the petrol tank.

This is an excellent product. However, it is really not that easy to install. I remember I had a hard time trying to force the sausage down the petrol inlet pipe of the Rover. I was lucky I managed to force it all the way in using all sorts of flexible pipes, until I heard it dropped into the tank. This time, in Singapore, I had a hard time removing the petrol level device. It was a bastard to remove all the covers and screws; definitely not the sort of work suitable for most drivers. Also, it is a hazard to work with petrol!!

I strongly recommend you offer more safety warnings and also detailed installation instructions. Particularly in Singapore, since your dealer's profit margin is good, you should get them to install the drop in unit (sausage) either for free or with a small fee. The guy who sold me told me it was dead easy to install the unit, but I was really angered by the difficulty in removing the covers in the 2003 version Corollar. No wonder many in Singapore prefer to install the inline type. But you know very well, it is the in tank unit that works best.

If you can improve on the installation stage by offering better instructions and services, I am sure you will double your sales.

Best Regards!!
