VW New Beetle
The New Beetle offers customers rekindles memories of the 70s. But all that was missing was the original air-cooled rear mounted engine. The current Beetle undergoes changes like having hardwearing plastics and featuring little touches like 'Beetle' shaped icons in place of regular switch gear and displays with a familiar dashboard positional vase. Built on the Golf's platform, rides and handling is safe, comfortable and predictable. Apart from the 1.6-litre engine, the Beetle comes in either a 2.0-litre Cabriolet or a powered 1.8T.

VW Golf V
From its popular hatchback predecessor, the new Golf still has a reassuring shape that reinforces its solid image. Conservatively and elegantly styled, the Golf V certainly continues to attract fans though there is no much change. Armed with dual-optic light front and rear give the Golf a more mature and sophisticated look. Besides growing in size, new features like multi-zone electronic climate control and premium sound system is available. Powerplant are either a 1.6 or a 2.0 FSI engine.

VW Touareg
Looking to offer a viable, well-spec alternative to the usual premium SUV. The Touareg is all about refinement and sleek sophistication on the outside, while a whole array of technological and luxury amenities in the cabin. Come as standard are the keyless entry, hill start mode, multi-zone climate control, steering wheel mounted paddle-style gear shifters and a large cabin. Ride quality and acceleration in the Touareg is comfort and the 3.2-litre V6 makes highway cruising a breeze.

VW Passat
Targeting at owners who wanted a mid-sized sedan but another alternative to the usual BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Saab and Volvo. The Passat offers owners a different perspective compare to the Japanese makes and is powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharge. Although the Passat is pretty lively but sustained high rpms will betray the venerable four-cylinder engine. The latest 2-litre will offers customers a German make car with Japanese prices, while badge-snobs may dislike the VW maker, the impressive standard equipment is nicely built with exacting levels of fit and finish, which will make this dark horse a worthy contender.
