CITROEN
CITROEN C3
Citroen' supermini was introduced in Singapore last year and 2 verions are available for the local market - 1.4-litre auto and 1.6-litre verion with clutchless manual transmission called the Sensodrive. The 1.4-litre produces 75bhp while the 1.6-litre churns out 110bhp. The C3's 2CV-esqe and snail-like silhouette makes the car very eye-catching on our roads.
CITROEN C5
The unloved Xantia was replaced by the new C5 when first launched in 2001. The 5-door hatchback body shell hides a commodious boot and interior. The C5 rides over bumps like no other in its class simply due to Citroen's Hydractive suspension. Starts with a 177bhp 1.8-litre motor and rounded up by a 210bhp 3-litre V6 motor.
CITROEN XSARA
The Xsara is the oldest model in the Citroen range. Styling looks rather dated and the driving experience is just average. It comes in 2 models - a 5-door hatchback and an estate version of the Xsara. Two engine choices - a 1.4-litre for the base model and an 110bhp 1.6-litre. It is set to be replaced by an all-new model called the C4 in 2005.
