Marine
The Broquet fuel treatment catalyst is already well known in the marine field having been fitted to many yachts, work boats and fishing vessels world-wide with engine power outputs of between 150 and 7000hp. Amongst the more well known yachts already fitted with the Broquet fuel catalyst are 'Sea Crest' (now 'Miss Evie'), 'Idlewood, 'Moonmaiden II', 'Sea Fin', and 'Moecca'. At the smaller end of the scale, Broquet is fitted to many small inboard and outboard engines, auxiliary generators and jetskis
Supplied in pellet form, Broquet is easily fitted into the fuel system of a diesel, oil or petrol engine where it will quickly react with the fuel to improve efficiency of the engine's combustion process for a minimum of 6,500 operating hours. Broquet works in two ways. Firstly it promotes more efficient combustion, thereby utilising more of the available fuel for motive power. Second, it removes, and then inhibits the build-up of carbon deposits, waxes and gums which are normally formed in the combustion chamber as a result of incomplete combustion.
The combined effect is to produce a cleaner, more efficient engine resulting in:
Substantial savings in fuel (up to 12%)
Reduced exhaust stack emissions
Less maintenance
Cleaner lubrication oil
Quieter running
Use of unleaded petrol in older petrol engines (where applicable)
The longer term benefits are:
Longer engine life
Reduction in spare parts requirement
