NISSAN

NISSAN SUNNY
This popular Japanese make offers a mind-boggling array of trim, engine and transmission selection to the multi-level of buying masses here in Singapore. Despite immense cabin and engine improvements by its close competitors, the Sunny continues to enjoy a dedicated and zealous fan following who steadfastly stand by the brand. Interior space, refined engine and ride comfort are not fantastics, but good enough to distinguish the latter models.

NISSAN MARCH
The adorable March enters the Mini-Hatch segment to capture the hearts of the adoring public. Concept styling help endear the March to buyers. The knobs and switchgear have a kiddie-toy, home appliance look to them. Truly speaking, the car shows a road presence and recognition that is rivaled only by the MINI and New Beetle. The March is built on the same platform as the Renault Clio. The peppy engine is a happy revver, allowing you to pull cleanly away from the traffic lights.

NISSAN PRIMERA
The well styled Primera defies any clear categorization in Nissan’s model line-up, and its appearance more than a year ago paved the way for the current Cefiro. Unfortunately, the Primera was never well received by our local market. The ride comfort on this car tends to be a bit crashy at low speed, but cruising at highway speeds is a pliant and well-controlled affair.

NISSAN CEFIRO
The bold, avant-garde design and wide display of cabin functions really set this recarnation of the Cefiro apart from its predecessor. The range is categorized into 2.0 or 2.3 in our local market. Passengers are guaranteed a subline ride and worry-less drive, which complement the Zen-inspired cabin to provide a stress-free atmosphere and experience. Interior design, finishing, quality of material are top-notch. Its just a pity that conservative shoppers may find the shape too otherworldly compared to the offerings they used to from Nissan.

NISSAN PRAIRIE
The Prairie boosts sleek looks that aren’t exactly the norm in this market segment, particularly for a seven-seater. The driving experience is more than comfortable as the suspension performs enough to transport all and sundry to the final destination. To facilitate movements in narrow areas, the rear door is built on a sliding function, a bonus in the compact seven seater. The HyperCVT isn’t particularly responsive nor fast-paced, but this suits the easy-driving nature of the car perfectly.

NISSAN X-TRAIL
The X-Trail offers healthy heartlanders an opportunity to participate in the active lifestyle image of the SUV without forking a high price. With adequate ground clearance and off-road capabilities, the X-Trail looks set to blaze a trail straight to a multi carpark near you. Exterior styling is convincing enough to give onlookers the impression the car is more than capable of handling mountains.

NISSAN 350Z
The Fairlady 350Z is probably one of the most eye-catching car in the current Nissan line-up here. Powered by a meaty smooth, 3.5litre V6 engine, the 350Z provides stick-to-the-seat kind of driving thrills a car can offer. For buyer who appreciate the looks more than its prowess, an automatic version is available, but hardcore drivers have the option to select a fully-kitted track variant with six-speed manual transmission and brembo brakes.
