Like most Korean cars, the Rio is a good value for money best catered for budget-conscious buyers. Available as a sedan and hatchback in both manual and automatic transmissions, the Rio also comes in 2 variant, a 1.5-litre and a 1.3-litre for owners to choose from.

Kia Picanto
A funky dwarf that proven that not all small cars are boring and conservative. Available in a whole host of colours that matches the cheerful and distinctive front grille. Although with its affordable price tag and decent build quality, the interior is never compromise. Available in both manual and automatic transmission, the manual allows owners to optimize the 64bhp 1.1-litre.

Kia Cerato
With the all-new Cerato replacing the Spectra, and targeting at a younger and trendier generation. The Cerato boasts a sporty and aggressive stance, and with the cabin well equipped and reasonably spacious. The Cerato’s price tag really give the Japanese counterparts a run of their money.


Kia Magentis
Moving into the executive segment, the Magentis offers all the amenities one would expect to find in a car costing 1.3 times more. The Magentis features an automatic climate control and sophisticated and supple suspension system, and the 14bhp engine is mated to a slick shifting automatic transmission with manual override for better control.

Kia Carnival
A generously proportioned 7-seater, occupants can enjoy the luxuries of space and comfort and tolerate multiple journeys up-and-down the NS Highway. With a whole barrage of MPV type amenities await for the occupants, including many interior stowage compartments to choose from. The middle row seats are reversible and the wide aisles allow kids to move in-between the rows with ease. Though weighting over 2 tonnes, the torquey 2497cc does help in moving it.

Kia Carens
The Carens is part of a brand new breed of Korean cars that offers value for money with decent build quality. Targeted at young families, the Carens offers what one can find in a MPV, like spilt fold seats, temperature control, 12V power outlets and classy interior. Ride quality is catered more to comfort on the road, and considering the 1400kg kerb weight; the 126BHP engine does run out of breath pretty fast.

Kia Sorento
Targeting at a specific market to give their rivals a run of their money, The Sorento boasts a rugged looks that it seem ready to be off-road anytime. Surprisingly, the cabin is fitted with a high level of finishing, with decent grade of materials and plastic been used. Straight-line performance is acceptable given its 3.5-litre V6 power plant.
