CHRYSLER
CHRYSLER PT CRUISER
The PT Cruiser is a 5-door hatchback and went into production in 1999. The PT Cruiser arrived locally at the end of 2001 and remains unchanged since then. The PT Cruiser’s major selling point has to be its practical and large interior. Interior space almost matches the size of some mid-sized MPVs.
CHRYSLER GRAND VOYAGER
The Grand Voyager is huge and its vast interior is able to house passengers or cargo like few other large MPVs can. The Grand Voyager’s practical interior and the powered sliding doors ensure that ingress and egress is nothing but a breeze. The 3.3-litre V6 engine is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE
It first appeared as a concept car way back in 2001 and gone into production. The Crossfire would not have gone into production if not for the merger with Mercedes-Benz. It is based on the old SLK platform and even uses the Mercedes’ engine. The 3.2-litre 18V engine produces 218bhp. The unique looks are probably its biggest draw.
